Vote Now: These 13 Wild Trail-Cam Photos Range from Stunning to Seriously Funny
Tactacam is finishing up a public photo contest featuring user-submitted images captured on cellular trail cameras. After collecting entries from customers, the company narrowed the field to a set of finalists and opened voting to the public.
The final round includes 13 photos across five categories: deer, birds, predators, rare, and funny. Outdoor Life highlighted several of the finalists, showing everything from scenic wildlife scenes to quick, unexpected moments caught on camera.
Examples mentioned include a whitetail doe standing in falling snow, a spring black bear crossing a log, a GPS-collared bighorn on the prairie, and two eagles tangling in the snow. Other images include a bobcat leaping at a wild turkey, a caribou feeding as its coat changes, and a buck photographed with lightning in the background.
On the lighter side, some of the “funny” and unusual finalists include a black bear rolling around a bait site, a whitetail buck with something stuck in its antlers, and a buck reacting as an antler sheds and flips into the air. Voting is open through Friday, Feb. 27.
